Returns and Refunds Policy
Returns Notice
Sadie’s Bay does not offer free returns for change-of-mind purchases. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-Mind Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item includes all original parts and components
- The packaging is in the same condition as received, where reasonably possible
- The product has not been used beyond reasonable inspection
- The product has not been damaged due to misuse
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Returns are processed within 7 business days once received and inspected. We reserve the right to decline a change-of-mind return if the item appears used, damaged, incomplete, or is not in its original condition.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Major failure: You may choose a refund or replacement.
Minor failure: We may choose to repair, replace, or refund the item within a reasonable time.
If your item has a fault or defect, please contact us at support@sadiesbay.com with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the fault, damage, or incorrect item
We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for items that are confirmed faulty, damaged, or not as described.
There is no fixed time limit for reporting a fault. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply for a reasonable period depending on the nature and price of the product.
How to Request a Return
For all returns, please email support@sadiesbay.com with:
- Your order number
- Your reason for return
- A photo of the product if damaged, faulty, or incorrect
- Your full name and address
After receiving your request, we will review it and provide the correct return instructions. Please do not send returns to the sender’s address shown on the parcel. The return address will be confirmed after your return request is approved.
Order Cancellation
You may request to cancel your order before it has been dispatched. As our system is automated, orders are processed shortly after placement. If your order has already been dispatched or is in transit, cancellation may no longer be possible until the goods are delivered.
To request a cancellation, please contact us at support@sadiesbay.com as soon as possible.
Orders in Transit
As some Sadie’s Bay products are shipped internationally, delivery times may vary and are outside our direct control. If your order is already in transit, cancellation may not be possible. Please wait until delivery and then request a return if needed.
You may notify us in advance of your intention to return. Providing delivery confirmation may help speed up processing.
Refunds
Change-of-mind refunds: Processed within 14 days after returned goods are received and inspected. Original shipping costs are not refunded unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, damaged, or not-as-described refunds: Processed as soon as reasonably practicable after the issue is confirmed. We will not require you to return the item before issuing a refund where it is unreasonable to do so.
All refunds are issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
